Lynx 300X - Main Grip Set - Silver

Lynx Heli Innovations has redesigned the standard 300 X plastic main grip, using aluminum alloy.

During our intensive test we discovery that standard radial bearing size was easy damaged in case of intensive fly condition or after a crash.

 

We decided to replace the standard radial bearing size and offer a stronger system with larger outside diameter Radial Bearing and Thrust Bearing.

 

Lynx 300X Main Grip are fully compatible with standard 300X head parts, but are stronger not only because are made by Aluminum, but in particular because the resized bearing system.

We also decided to move the position of the thrust bearing, originally placed on the outer side, faced to the locking spindle screw.

 

We placed the thrust bearing in the inner side to increase the spindle shaft and radial bearing support and dramatically reduce play.

 

This bearing support system is normally used in bigger RC-Heli main grip design and Lynx introduce it on 300X because really does improvement, and the proposal is made a main grip system more precise and smooth in rotation under load.

 

Helicopter upgrades can be a trap – often they look nice but do little for function, and only add weight.

We spent hours optimizing the design to achieve the required strength with a final weight beyond compromise. We are pilots, and we demand a light and performing helicopter.
